CCRCC 2005 Summer Sizzler Fun Fly

July 23rd, 2005

30 pilots came from as far away as Roanoke Rapids to fly in our annual summer fly-in. 95 degree temps, a light breeze, and a cloudless day made some really great flying, fellowship, and eating. Thanks to all those who participated.
And a special thanks to Jeff Fedyna the committee chairperson, Chief Cook, and owner of GBI Hobbies who donated the Raffle Prize.

Multi-talented Jeff Fedyna ran the food operation. Obviously he did a good joy. We sold all the burgers and dogs we had.
Thanks to our friends from Vanceboro for supporting us. Sorry, I couldn't resist showing you the mock radial engine on this one.
Jake Robertson showed up with a model V8 engine which he ran for us several times during the day.
Awesome!
There were bunches, hoardes, er herds of spectators.
Lots of tents protected us from the sun.
